Ladies and Gentlemen,
I just wanted to welcome you to the new blog that the Society of Automotive Engineers University of Michigan Chapter (MSAE) has set up. Here our executive board will share some of their personal opinions and ideas on recent Automotive topics. We will also be updating our readers on the automotive news occurring around Ann Arbor. For instance coming up on September 14th SAE at UofM will be hosting their annual car show down on Elbel field. Everyone is welcome to come and if you would like to bring your car we encourage you to register it at our home webpage: http://www.engin.umich.edu/soc/sae/index.htm . Personally I believe this blog has some serious potential to bring MSAE's presence onto the web and give an outlet where students who are interested in automotive news can share it and be part of it as we move into a new century of transportation. We already have some upcoming posts from Rob and Dave. Rob will be discussing the Ford experience he participated in this summer where he got to drive some of their new cars on the track. I won't spoil all of it but it should be quite exciting. Again welcome to our blog and enjoy the ride!
